Learning how to play a lead that you created with the mouse is hard.
Slowing down the tempo was the key to getting started. The song runs at 127bpm, but I couldn’t play the line till I got down to 100bpm.
Now I can play it OK at 120bpm. Gettin’ there…
It’s gonna be worth it, the lead sound is very expressive, meaning it’s very responsive to how you play it on the keyboard.

The bass line is a Supernova sound. This really needs to be replaced. I’m toying with some sounds from the Oddity, but nothing is really coming together yet.

The pad is from a Freebie VST called ganymed. It’s an FM synth with really ugly GUI. The software hasn’t been updated in years. It’s incredibly useful though: great presets and you won’t believe how low the CPU usage is.
