Today is the day the Supernova is getting shipped off to it’s new owner.
I’ll miss it’s beautiful blue face full of blinking red LEDs, but it’s simply impractical to keep. Being a “Virtual Analogue” synth, there’s nothing that it does that isn’t duplicated in dozens of synthesizer plugins on the computer.
I really hate to give up a piece of Novation gear cuz they are great to work with.
Let me give you an example: The Supernova had developed a problem a couple years ago and was heating up a freaking out. I emailed Novation and they just asked for my address, sent me a part which fixed the problem and never even asked for so much as postage. As far as I can tell, their user support is the best.
