Well thanks for all that. The vocals idea will probably have to wait till the kids are in school (they're only 3 & 1 now) till I have the time to really collaborate, but who knows, maybe it can be done online...

no, no, the "high end thing" is good. i think a sample of a voice would be perfect to throw in. a nice female voice. not saying any words. but a subtle singing of some sort. and not a constant blathering of singing. after thinking about it some more, this is "the sound" that i think could be added. it would really complement the "high end thing" and the other subtle sweeps. especially in the breaks, the singing could really stand out. now of course the singing could really screw things up. it has to be just right without being overdone. maybe a combo of sexy subtle singing and whispering in certain places. good luck with that one! he he he....it's too bad we can't be partners of some sort. i've been listening to this shit for a few years short of 20. lots of ideas that kinda hurt bouncing off the inside of my brain sometimes, with no way of getting out....

NO NO, ALL WRONG! TRY AGAIN! ha ha. so what do you think? i think the piano was a bit much. but now that it's gone, it might need something to replace it. not a piano sound. something else. but not as "improv" as the piano in that last mix. and i understand you'd like that extra something you can do when live. i think it could benefit from a subtle addition, not too much, not piano, but present enough. well, hope that helps stir up the creative juices....
